Tease Time a Zombie Halloween Burlesque Show starring All the Apparatus!
for immediate rlease....
Tease Time A Zombie Halloween is coming !
Tonic Lounge : 3100 NE Sandy Blvd
Friday 10.22.10 , 8pm Doors, 9pm Show
Admission $7 for 21+ only
Tease Time, a Burlesque show under the Direction of Miss Frankie Tease, will move to a new venue , and gain an amazing new band on the Portland music scene : All the Apparatus.
Sexy Comedic Zombie Dancers, music to dance your pants off too, and lots of surprises! Come and enter the world of the undead , in full burlesque style!
When Frankie began talking with Al from all the Apparatus, it was by happenstance - on a bus one day in Inneer SE Portland. She saw the accordion case and inquired. "All the Apparatus' is our band name' Al said, and we're from Hawaii" (aka ATA). Since this meet in February, 2010, 'All the Apparatus' have had their run on the t.v. show 'America's Got Talent' and have established residency in the great town of Portland, Or. Looks like it's going ok for the gang! ATA will play live with burlesque dancers an entire week before Halloween Oct. 22 at the Tonic Lounge at 3100 NE Sandy Blvd. in Portland Oregon.
Self-described 'Avante-garde dirty gypsy klezmer jazz indie anti-folk rock ', All the Apparatus is made up of the starting members of "The Habidashery (Hawaii) and after one member died they formed this tribute band with 2 of the 3 original members, and renamed the project ' All the Apparatus". Swinging from Gypsy to Marching band to Jazz to theatrical musical in styling, the story telling and ingenious original compisition (written by all members), doesn't seem to reflect their youth.
more
'All the apparatus' will be providing the complete soundtrack to the Oct. 22, Tease Time: A Zombie Halloween Burlesque Show, while zombies circulate and a zombie transformations station will be available to anyone arriving undead! Lucky Lucy O Rebel, Miss Frankie Tease, and Kit Katastrophe are some of the listed performers who are creating the dance to accompany the outrageous theatrical music of the band Portlanders are coming to love!

The Tonic lounge will set the scene with two rooms and a smoking patio to provide all the scary
atmosphere you would expect while entering the world of the undead ! Prize Sponsors include: Bart's Barber Shop, Lady Luck Tatoo, and Serious Juggling, as well as specialty vendors who will be on site to offer pin-up and ghoul distractions. Get your photo taken and have something to show this

"Alabama Song" by Bertolt Brecht
Show me the way to the next whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
Show me the way to the next whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
For if we don't find the next whisky bar
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you
I tell you
I tell you we must die
Oh, moon of Alabama
We now must say say good-bye
We've lost our good old mamma
And must have whisky
Oh, you know why.
Show me the way to the next pretty girl
Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
Show me the way to the next pretty girl
Oh don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
For if we don't find the next pretty girl
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you
I tell you
I tell you we must die
Oh, moon of Alabama
We now must say good-bye
We've lost our good old mamma
And must have a girl
Oh, you know why.
Show me the way to the next little dollar
Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
Show me the way to the next little dollar
Oh, don't ask why, oh, don't ask why
For if we don't find the next little dollar
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you
I tell you
I tell you we must die
Oh, moon of Alabama
We now must say good-bye
We've lost our good old mamma
And must have dollars
Oh, you know why.
